Case-control study of suicidal behaviour, nested in the population cohort of inhabitants of Catalonia (n ~ 7.5 million), from 2014-2019 and based on population-based administrative and healthcare data registries that collect data on sociodemographic and clinical factors, as well as health services’ utilisation (> 700 factors) with potential predictive value in suicidal behaviour.
Longitudinal study with a prospective 12-month follow-up of a cohort of persons who have made a prior suicide attempt (n ~ 900), assessed through clinical, neurological and biological tests. The study includes a case-control substudy to analyse differences between persons making a repeat suicide attempt (cases) and persons making a single suicide attempt and those with no prior suicide attempts (controls).
